Membership

Membership of the circle is by affiliation, application or invitation to senior executives, and then an annual membership fee of R15 000-00 is charged. Senior executive refers to CEO's, Executive Chairpersons, MDs and/or those in senior general management positions in parastals, multinationals or Major South African or African corporations. Membership is subject to approval by the Executive Committee.

Incidentally, BBEC currently has a membership of about 132 individuals who either lead listed companies with a turnover in excess of R250 million, private companies with a turnover in excess of R100 million and more than 51% black owned companies with a turnover of over R25 million. General Managers with budgets in excess of R50 million are also members. Additionally, Cabinet Ministers and Directors General are honorary members.
